Exchange between professionals about teaching ‘cultural awareness’ is import to develop study programs. That’s why we organized the second Multiplier Event. At Dublin City University, we welcomed about 25 participants with different professional backgrounds (university teachers, kindergarten teachers, and members of NGOs) from eight different countries.

The program of the two-days meeting included round tables, a World Café and presentations about teaching practices. We discussed with all participants the realization of a framework for cultural awareness. The critical and constructive contributions of the participants will help us to finalize this framework. We also learned a lot about different teaching practices in the context of cultural awareness. The discussions showed that only the exchange between professionals with different backgrounds can improve teaching at universities and practice in the field of early childhood education.
